As individuals, we stand alone. But as a cohesive group of like-minded individuals, we have the leverage to impact society by a much greater magnitude. Our bloggers write their posts with this single question in mind: "How do we effectively mobilize and strengthen the LGBTQ communities while also facilitating acceptance of all human diversity?" As unique as each person is, we all strive for acceptance into the greater fabric of life. In hopes of perpetuating this acceptance, our bloggers are driven to bring about human understanding among people of all sexual orientations. 

 

/  The purpose is two-fold

 

1. To share personal experiences and insights in hopes of establishing healthy and dynamic LGBTQ individuals. 

2. To help build alliances between the local LGBTQ and heterosexual communities while establishing a more accepting and socially integrative perspective of sexual identity. 

 

We realize that communications within the blogs should be done in a personal yet respectful manner which we hope will encourage MANY communities to give in support of LGBTQ relationships. While sexual identity is color blind, has no religious propensity, and is unbiased, we understand that information/education is key to the health of the LGBTQ population. With an accurate understanding of sexual identity, local communities will be better prepared to enact and enforce equal-treatment laws regarding LGBTQ civil-rights.
